The Exceeding Loveliness of Jesus

The exceeding loveliness of Jesus completely covers my blemished life.
His forgiveness and mercy free me from overwhelming bondage.
His compassion and comfort sweep over my humiliating mistakes.
His patience and kindness soften my selfish heart.

The exceeding loveliness of Jesus unleashes me to live forgiven and carefree.
His peace and calm assurance hold steady my fretful mind.
His joy and optimism lift my faltering spirits.
His uncompromising confidence removes my doubts and fears.

The exceeding loveliness of Jesus is indescribable, uncontainable, and beyond measure.
It envelops me in perfect love and peace until I am at complete rest.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAPLAIN...

Giving Thanks

Psalms 34:1-3 “I will praise the Lord at all times.  I will never stop singing his praises.  Humble people, listen and be happy, while I brag about the Lord.  Praise the Lord with me.   Let us honor his name.”

Greetings Chinook Family, I pray you are all doing well and had a most blessed Spring break.  I am on cloud 9 and praising God for His mercy, protection and goodness for our 2019 Belize Mission Trip to Ladyville Primary Adventist School that went amazing.   Some of you may know that our school went down in April 2011 to this school and to come back was just a blessing to see how God has blessed this school under Mr. Fonsi Acosta’s leadership.

If I were to tell you all the details we’d be here for a while, but let me quickly just say this:  that from the flights down & back, our lodging, food, worships, team building, work at the school, VBS, church service, the 3 baptisms of Nathan Price, Autumn Schultze & Shelby Edgson, to visiting the Mayan Ruins of Altun Ha and later having a sports social with the locals that night, to spending a day at a water park in Old Belize City, and another separate day at the beautiful Island of San Pedro where we snorkeled on the reef, ate yummy food and purchased souvenirs, connected with a local orphanage and served, we were, with God’s strength able to accomplish all we were asked to have completed at the Ladyville Adventist School.  Praise God!

If you have been on one of these trips, you know well the joy of making new friends and the joy of knowing that in a small way you helped the local community for God’s kingdom.   On behalf of all the students and staff THANK YOU for your prayers and financial support.   We look forward to coming to your church to share pictures and experiences.   Below I’ve inserted two pictures, but you can also go to here to our Chinook Winds Facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/pg/ChinookWindsAdventistAcademy/photos/?ref=page_internal

God bless and keep each of us as we serve Him where we are right now.   Remember that you do not need to get on a plane to serve. Let us pray that God make us to be a blessing where we are right now.
Have a bless week.

Your Brother in Christ,
Paul Antunes
In Philippians 4:13 we read “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.”
