We can't wait to see you!

The Prince George 2022 BC Summer Games are less than a month away! Congratulations on being selected to represent your sport and zone at the Games.

In the next week you will receive a letter in the mail with details for you to log into the BC GAMES PARTICIPANT WEBSITE. See page 7 of the Guide to the Games for more details. If you have not received your letter by July 5, 2022 email us at

The Guide to the Games is available online now and in it you will find lots of information about the Games and how best to prepare.

Culture of the Games

The BC Games Society strives to inspire exceptional experiences by creating a positive, respectful, inclusive, and accessible environment. The Culture of the Games outlines and describes the expectations of those associated with the Games. This includes policies, codes of conduct, and information that help individuals know what is expected of them.

Prior to attending the Games, participants are required to complete a Culture of the Games module via the BC GAMES PARTICIPANT WEBSITE. The online module will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and will cover the key principles of the Culture of the Games and the BC Games Code of Conduct.

Register for a G2G Session

Have questions about your participation in the Games? Join us at one of our virtual G2G (Guide to the Games) Sessions being held on July 7, July 10, and July 13.

Opening Ceremony Ticket Information

CN Centre, Thursday July 21, 7:00 PM
Gates open and pre-show entertainment begins at 6:00 PM

The Opening Ceremony is a memorable experience to kick off what will be a fantastic four days. The ceremony will feature the parade of participants, guest speakers, entertainment, and the lighting of the BC Games Torch. Participants are encouraged to dress in zone colours or full uniform and bring lots of energy to this unique aspect of a multi-sport Games.

Is your family interested in attending?
Participants can reserve seats at the Opening Ceremony for their family through the BC GAMES PARTICIPANT WEBSITE (details about access to the site will be mailed to participants as noted above and in the Guide to the Games). It is anticipated that there will be sufficient seating for anyone who wants to attend this free event. The reservation process is intended to ensure families (especially those travelling from out of town) can watch their young athlete in the Opening Ceremony. Friends and family reserved seats are free, but limited to two (2) per participant.

Thank you to our coaches!

Coaches are integral to a positive BC Summer Games experience. Head coaches, assistant coaches, and adult supervisors are expected to travel on Games transportation to Prince George with their athletes (if travelling on Games transportation), stay in Games accommodation with their team, and to supervise their athletes throughout the Games.
Head coaches and assistant coaches as a minimum are expected to complete NCCP Make Ethical Decisions or more advanced NCCP training in their sport. Adult supervisors as a minimum must complete the CAC Safe Sport Training prior to the Games. For more information, contact your Provincial Advisor.
This unique multi-sport Games experience for our province‘s best young athletes would simply not be possible without passionate and caring coaches. Thanks coach!

Medical/Allergy Form

All participants must complete the Medical/Allergy Form by July 8, 2022 through the BC GAMES PARTICIPANT WEBSITE. This is especially important for food allergies or dietary restrictions.
